Itinerary 9: Freita's path
The route begins in the village of Arfa and leads to the Creu de la Freita (Freita’s cross). It is a path that goes completely through the forest, very convenient in the summer to avoid the heat, but equally suitable for all times of the year. The first part, up until the Creu de la Freita, is a sustained rise. From this point, the path arrives to the Freita village, currently uninhabited. The highest stretches of the route offer spectacular views of the river Segre banks and of the mountains of Andorra and Pallars.
