Itinerary 3: Coll d'Eruga path and Coll de Cristià path, from Cava to Querforadat and vice versa
This route connects the center of Cava and Querforadat through a circular path with spectacular views at the foot of the Cadí mountain range. You depart Cava in a northeastern direction, and pass through the foothills of el Castell (Castle Hill), where you can find the scarce remains of a medieval fortress. You have to climb, always in an easterly direction, to Coll d'Eruga, leaving behind Cal Pubill (Pubill’s house) and the Font del Veïnat (Veïnat’s fountain). From Coll d'Eruga, the path begins its descent until you reach the village of Querforadat, with the powerful remains of a large castle now in ruins. From this place, leaving the Migdia street in south direction, you have to climb towards the Coll de Cristià (Cristià’s hill) where the descent begins to return to the village of Cava.
